The Big JAM Event

The Big JAM Event is our bi-annual convention for actors.

🎟 Earlybird price ➔ £70 (until 30 June 2025)

After our first event sold out in April, we’re excited to be bringing back the event this Autumn.

Spread over one day, the event is a chance for actors to come together and take part in various workshops and listen to keynote speeches about the creative industry.

The new event will also feature new formats and:

  • Longer keynote speeches

  • Longer workshop sessions

  • Agent workshops for the first time

The Big JAM Acting Event details

  • Date: Saturday 25 October 2025

  • Location: ArtsEd, 14 Bath Rd, Chiswick, London W4 1L

  • 1 ticket = 1x keynote speech & 2x workshops

AM Session / 9:30am-2:15pm

Keynote hosted by Casting Director Rob Kelly (Geek Girl, Netflix & Dodger, BBC) & Paul McKenzie (Boy Meets Girl, BBC).

Workshops hosted by:

  • Leah Graham (Associate Agent, Independent).

  • Gabby King (A Thousand Blows, Hulu).

  • Chandra Ruegg (The Witcher, Netflix).

  • Faye Timby (The Witcher, Netflix).

  • Ceri Bedingfield (Ten Percent, Amazon).

  • TBC

PM Session / 12-4:30pm

Keynote hosted by Ross Grant from Act On This witha Special Guest (TBC).

Workshops hosted by:

  • Luke Reilly (Agent at The Artists Partnership).

  • Sara Short (The Witcher, Netflix).

  • Millie Hooper (Supacell, Netflix).

Important Notes When Booking

  • Actors can choose between two different ticket types:

    • 1 keynote speech and 2x casting director workshops

    • 1 keynote speech, 1x casting director workshop + 1x agent workshop

  • Workshop styles will vary such as traditional casting workshops, scene studies, sight-reading casting sessions, how to approach an agent and more.

  • Workshops are capped at 14 actors.

  • Though unlikely to happen, we reserve the right to change and alter the workshop and key note speech hosts taking part in the day.

  • Tickets are strictly non-refundable.

  • Actors aged 18+ are only permitted to attend.

Unlike other actors conventions, the day is focused on maximising your experience with industry professionals and includes 1 keynote speech and 2 workshops for you to take part in.

We will have a small group of handpicked businesses that support and work with actors who can offer advice, discuss the industry and network with including Spotlight and Act On This. We will send out more information nearer the time about free CV surgeries happening on the day.
