An annual scholarship supporting talented working-class actors with financial assistance, industry access and developmental support as they move from training into the acting industry.
What is The Luke Westlake Scholarship?
The Luke Westlake Scholarship is an annual award from Just Add Milk that supports a working-class actor in their final years of training as they prepare to graduate from drama school, university or another recognised training route.
The scholarship was established in 2019 after JAM recognised that many actors were being priced out of their careers before they had even fully entered the industry.
After the cost of training, actors often still need to pay for headshots, Spotlight membership, plays, self-tape equipment, travel, industry subscriptions and other essentials. The Luke Westlake Scholarship helps reduce that pressure and gives one actor a stronger foundation as they begin their professional career.
