Casting and Agent Intensives for Actors
Just Add Milk (JAM) online intensives are immersive, multi-session training programmes for actors who want deep, focused development with casting directors and talent agents. Unlike one-off workshops, intensives are designed to build confidence, consistency and industry understanding over a sustained period of time.
All JAM intensives take place online, making professional casting and agent access available to actors across the UK and internationally, without the cost of travel.
Casting Intensives
These focus on audition technique, self-tape performance, screen presence and understanding casting decisions. Actors work repeatedly with casting professionals to refine their craft and confidence.
Agent Intensives
These focus on representation readiness, industry positioning, submission materials and communication with agents. Actors receive guidance on how to present themselves professionally and how to approach representation strategically.
Some intensives may combine both casting and agent elements for a rounded industry experience.
Acting Intensives FAQs
What is an online acting intensive?
An online acting intensive is a multi-session training programme where actors work with casting directors and/or agents over a sustained period, receiving ongoing feedback and development.
Are JAM intensives only delivered online?
Yes. All JAM intensives take place online, making them accessible to actors across the UK and internationally without travel costs.
What is the difference between a casting intensive and an agent intensive?
Casting intensives focus on audition technique and self-tape performance, while agent intensives focus on representation readiness, industry positioning and submissions. Some programmes combine both.
Will an intensive get me auditions or an agent?
No intensive can guarantee auditions or representation, but JAM intensives offer sustained professional feedback and industry understanding that can significantly strengthen an actor’s profile.
Do I need experience to join an intensive?
Some intensives are suitable for emerging actors and graduates, while others are aimed at professionals. Each listing clearly states the experience level required.
Why are JAM intensives more affordable than many other programmes?
As a charity, Just Add Milk reinvests profits into actor development and scholarships, allowing online intensives to remain affordable without compromising professional standards.
