About the show
A bond forged over food. A future thrown into question.
Joanne is spikey and defensive, a survivor. Paul is quiet and considered, hiding profound grief for his father. The pleasure he takes in cooking — and the food he prepares — brings them together.
When the hotel where they both work closes, they begin to spiral into poverty. Their dreams of a cookbook and a restaurant give way to a much harder question: whether they can still imagine a future together.
