U18 Stage and Screen Workshop
Tuesday 4th August | 10am–5pm
A fun, supportive and practical acting workshop for under 18s designed to build confidence, develop performance skills, and strengthen your ability to work both independently and as part of an ensemble.
Throughout the day, you'll explore improvisation, stage performance, screen acting, and character work, while receiving personalised feedback from Sarah in a creative and encouraging environment.
You'll Work On:
Warm-up exercises and ensemble-building activities
Improvisation and quick-thinking skills
Listening, imagination and spontaneity
Group scene work for the stage
Screen acting technique
Taking direction and applying notes
Industry Q&A with Sarah
Stage Scene Work
Working in pre-assigned groups, you'll bring a scripted scene to life for a live audience. Sarah will guide the rehearsal process, helping you develop character, strengthen performance choices, and build confidence in ensemble work before sharing your scene with the group.
Screen Acting
Participants will perform a pre-assigned scene for camera, receiving professional feedback and direction before filming a second take. Filmed footage will be provided following the workshop for personal use and review.
Suitable for young aspiring and emerging actors looking to develop their skills, gain confidence, and enjoy a day of focused performance training.
Workshop runs from 10am–5pm. Scripts and character allocations will be sent in advance. Timings may vary depending on class size.
Venue Information
This course takes place at: Old Diorama Arts Centre, Regent's Place, 201 Drummond Street, Triton Square, London NW1 3FE. The studio is a 5 minute walk away from Great Portland Street, Warren Street, London Euston or Euston Square.
