Casting Intensive

Have you done one of workshops and feel like you want to take your acting development to another level? Or perhaps you want more time with a casting director to really hone in on your actions and acting choices.

Chandra Ruegg (Wednesday, Netflix) will take you through 4 days of self-tape feedback - with scripts provided by Chandra. The intensive will end with a feedback 1-to-1 and a chance to ask Chandra questions about the casting process.

Schedule(please note the only session you need to attend over Zoom is the final session, the rest of the the intensive is written feedback. You will be invited to upload your self-tapes into Google Drive where Chandra will provide written feedback)

Chandra Ruegg started working in the industry as a child actress, having attended Sylvia Young Theatre School.

After more than twenty years, she decided she was ready to give up her acting hat and move into the world of casting, something she had often remarked would be her next steps.

Her first stint was assisting Amy Ball on Dance Nation at the Almeida Theatre.

From there she assisted Charlotte Sutton for Chichester Festival Theatre, for two seasons and was due to be an associate on one of their shows this year, which sadly didn’t happen due to Covid.

She continues to work with both on other projects when needed.

As a freelancer her screen work includes assisting Nanw Rowlands, Sophie Holland, Andy Pryor, Lauren Evans and Oliva Scott Webb to name but a few!
