This intensive is designed to answer these questions and more, giving you practical tools to approach agents with confidence and professionalism.

About the Intensive

Led by Joi Rouncefield (Simon & How Associates), this intensive provides personalised advice, guidance and written feedback on the key materials you need when approaching agents. You’ll come away with clear, actionable insight into what agents look for and how to present yourself in the best possible way.

Requirements to Take Part

To get the most from this intensive, you should have:

  • A Spotlight link/acting CV

  • A showreel

  • Examples of recent self-tapes

Schedule

  • Thursday 26th Feb Actors upload material (to Google Drive)

  • Tuesday 3rd March Feedback back due from host

  • Wednesday 4th March Zoom 1-to-1 session 6:00pm-9:30pm

Simon & How

Joi graduated from ALRA North in 2014 before pursuing a career in Talent Management. Over seven years, she progressed from Assistant to Lead Agent at a well-established Manchester agency, before joining Simon & How in 2024 as Maternity Cover for Senior Agent Tabitha Porter. She is now building her own list at SHA, with clients working across TV, Film, Theatre and Advertising, and splits her time between the London office and her home in the North. As a neurodivergent creative, Joi is passionate about supporting individuality and championing actors from all backgrounds.
