Join Casting Director Sarah Harkins (The Full Monty, Disney +) for an immersive two-day workshop designed to strengthen your performance skills for both stage and screen.

Through monologues, scene work, camera exercises, and personalised coaching, you'll gain practical techniques, professional insight, and valuable performance experience.

Day 1: Performance for the Stage

Focus on developing confidence, presence, and connection through theatre performance.

You'll work on:

  • Professional vocal and physical warm-ups

  • A prepared monologue with individual coaching and feedback

  • Partnered scene work (duologues)

  • Character development and text analysis

  • Performing for an audience

  • Industry Q&A with Sarah

Monologues should be 1–2 minutes, appropriate to your casting, and taken from a published play.

Day 2: Acting for Screen

Explore the key differences between stage and screen performance while developing essential camera skills.

You'll work on:

  • Chemistry reads and audition technique

  • Screen scene work

  • Camera awareness and truthful performance

  • Filmed monologue coaching

  • Receiving and applying direction

  • Industry Q&A with Sarah

Selected screen work will be filmed and provided for your personal use.
