Throughout the year we work with hundreds of casting directors, from around the world, who host our workshops. Whether it’s in person in London or online, our current list of casting directors is constantly growing. Read on to find out more about the casting directors that we work with.

Paushali Banik

Paushali has been working in casting since 2013. Her first experience in casting was for an independent film company in India during her gap year. Since then, she has worked as a Casting Assistant alongside some great UK Casting Directors at Theo Park Casting, Rob Kelly Casting, Heather Basten Casting and many more. For the last 2 years she has been working at The Casting Office run by the wonderful Andy Brierley and Victor Jenkins. Her credits include projects for Netflix, BBC, ITV, Amazon Prime, C4, Hulu & HBO.

Ceri Bedingfield

Ceri has worked in Casting for the past four years, across TV, Film, Theatre & Commercial projects with Casting Directors; Rachel Freck, Rose Wicksteed, Dixie Chassay, Jill Green & Emily Tilelli. Most recently she has worked on Series 3 of the thrilling TIN STAR and feature film LOUIS WAIN, starring Benedict Cumberbatch. She is currently working with Rachel Freck on a number of new and returning TV projects for 2020 & 2021.

JJ Bee

JJ Bee is a Casting Director for film and television with a passion for discovering talented youth from all backgrounds.

He has a wealth of experience across CBBC, including BAFTA Children’s nominated “Jamie Johnson”.

To date, he is proud to have worked on casting projects for the likes of The BBC, Netflix, The CW, The Young Vic, Disney, Channel 5 and Nickelodeon among others.

Chloe Blake

Chloe studied Acting at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.

After graduating Chloe worked as a project coordinator in theatre production before moving to London and becoming an agent's assistant at ARG. Chloe then worked in commercials before moving into casting.

They have worked for the Casting department at The National Theatre for two and a half years, assisting on productions including Under Milk Wood, Hex and The Curious Incident of the Dog In The Night Time. Chloe just cast Barrier(s) in the Dorfman Theatre and also does freelance casting work. They also have many years of experience as a workshop leader with Youth Theatre’s and LAMDA exam tutor.

Claire Bleasdale

Claire has been part of and loved the creative world since joining Manchester's Contact Youth Theatre in 1992 from here she trained as an actor at Manchester School of Theatre (1999 - 2002) and worked professionally in theatre, film, television and radio before moving into casting. As a casting assistant she worked on the teams for BBC drama The Village, the feature film X&Y and at Lime Pictures on various productions. Then going on to work with a number of casting directors and United Agents in London.

Claire has been working as a casting director in film, theatre and commercials for five years, with her first film credit being the short film 'Break' by Nick Moss (starring John Hurt) which won Best Short at Manchester Film Festival 2015. Other films include 'Lambing Season' for Creative England ishorts and 'Cowboy Dave' which won Best Short film at BAFTAS 2018. In 2019 Claire worked on the established theatre director Matthew Dunster's film directorial debut, short film 'Judy'. As well as casting two of the projects involved with 2020's The Uncertain Kingdom.

Theatre Credits - Claire has worked on the past two Manchester International Festivals with 'Party Skills for the End of the World' 2017 and 'Dystopia 987' with Skepta in 2019. Most recently casting the young performers in 'Gypsy' the musical for the Royal Exchange Theatre. Also in the past year Claire has also worked with visual artists on gallery commissions, including Mark Leckey and his exhibition for the Tate Britain 'O Magic Power of Bleakness'.

Claire also works in a number of drama and film schools across the country. In the role of industry advisor. Giving the new acting and film talent a clear insight of how casting works within the industry.

Francesca Bradley

Francesca is a London based Casting Director who casts for TV and Film. She has been working in casting since 2010 where her first job was assisting Priscilla John on Captain America: The First Avenger. Since then she has worked alongside Priscilla John and Orla Maxwell across multiple genres in UK, Europe & America for Paramount Studios, Marvel, 20th Century Fox, Netflix, Bron and Bavaria Fiction among others. Her most notable credits as associate include Uncharted, Logan, 6 Underground, Ford vs. Ferrari, Transformers: The Last Knight, Infinite, The Defeated, Medici, Krypton, Ransom. She was most recently UK casting associate to Kate Rhode James on Atlanta Series 3 written and starring Donald Glover. Notable Casting Director credits include Buffering Series 2 for ITVx, which is currently airing, UK Casting for the 3rd & 4th series of the critically-acclaimed Das Boot, Exterminate the Brutes for HBO, Feature Film That Good Night, UK casting on The Reunion.

Aisha Bywaters

Aisha won the BAFTA TV Craft award for scripted casting in 2022 for Working Title / NBCU’s WE ARE LADY PARTS.

Kate Caldwell

After 23 years in Los Angeles, Kate Caldwell packed up and took her casting skills to the UK where she currently works with Emmy-winning Casting Director Suzanne Smith. Kate has experience in many areas of casting having worked the studio and network side at ABC Television and on both voice-over and live-action feature films at 20th Century Fox Feature Casting. Her favorite, though, is being in the trenches of independent casting. Her credits include the Netflix series UNBELIEVABLE for which she was nominated alongside Laura Rosenthal, Jodi Angstreich and Melissa Kostenbauder for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Casting For a Limited Series, Movie or Special, KINGDOM with Frank Grillo and Nick Jonas, HERCULES with Dwayne Johnson, the western series HELL ON WHEELS and BEVERLY HILLS CHIHUAHUA 2 & 3.

Fran Cattaneo

Fran Cattaneo has worked across screen and stage, as a (Senior) Casting Assistant and Casting Director. Based in London, her screen credits as a Casting Assistant include; International Emmy-nominated Dreaming Whilst Black for BBC and A24, Luna Carmoon's debut feature Hoard, House of Spoils with leads Ariana DeBose and Barbie Ferreira for Blumhouse, and the BAFTA-nominated short form programme How To Be A Person. Her first Casting Director credit was for the short film, Octopus, which screened at the 2022 BFI Flare Festival. Coming from a predominately theatre background, Fran has also been lucky enough to assist on stage productions for The Bush, Young Vic, Lyric Hammersmith and Regent’s Park Open Air.

Andrea Clark 

Andrea clark casting was founded in 2006. since then andrea has worked on award-winning feature films, commercials and short films. she also casts a variety of other projects including video games, corporate films and new media content. andrea cast THE BELLWETHER, “the world’s first English language one-woman feature film” starring ALEX RIED, and was casting consultant on BAFTA winning LATE SHIFT. she has worked major national and international commercial campaigns, including MCDONALDS, LENOVO, HUAWEI and JOHN LEWIS. prior to setting up her own company, andrea co-cast the acclaimed feature films including DOG SOLDIERS, KEEPING MUM and THE THIEF LORD, which starred a young GEORGE MACKAY and AARON TAYLOR-JOHNSON. as an associate casting director, she collaborated on the casting of blockbusters including HELLBOY, BLADE II and HIDALGO. she was also part of the casting team on MTV’S ground-breaking reality programme THE REAL WORLD. andrea entered the industry in 1991 as an assistant casting director for DAVIS & ZIMMERMANN and learnt her trade working with internationally renowned directors including JOHN SCHLESINGER, SIR PETER HALL, BLAKE EDWARDS and FRANCO ZEFFIRELLI. andrea sits on the board of the casting directors association and is a member of BAFTA and the casting directors guild.

Doireann Cooke 

After graduating from the Institute of Art, Design and Technology in Dublin, Doireann worked for a year for the Ann Curtis Agency before moving to London to pursue a career in casting.

Since 2017 she's worked with Amy Hubbard, Elaine Grainger, Lucy Rands and several other casting offices across TV, film and video games.

Emma Crompton

Emma Crompton has worked on projects for Channel 4, BBC, ITV, Disney, Sony, Universal, Netflix, Warner Brothers and Amazon Studios. After training as an actor at the Arden School of Theatre and working with some of the greatest casting directors, producers, directors, and actors in the world over the last 8 years, Emma has developed unique and effective teaching methods for actors focussing on the casting process

Anna Dawson

Anna began working in casting in 2013. She worked for numerous Casting Directors in London before moving to Scotland to work alongside Simone Pereira Hind. Anna casts projects independently and as part of SPH Casting.

Casting Director credits include: FLOAT (BBC), THE BRILLIANT WORLD OF TOM GATES 1,2 & 3 (Sky TV) and pilots PANCAKE (BBC) and SMART DEVICES (BBC). 

Short Film: Numerous shorts including those for BFI, Screen Scotland & BBC. Anna is currently working on 6 short films for the Short Circuit programme, funded by the BFI and Screen Scotland. 

Co Casting Director credits include: THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS (WB/HBOMax) and upcoming THE ISLAND (BBC) and GIFTED (CBBC). 

Theatre Co Casting director credits include: LIFE IS A DREAM (Royal Lyceum Edinburgh), THE WHITE CARD (Soho Theatre) and upcoming MACBETH (RSC), ANNA KARENINA (Royal Lyceum Edinburgh) and DRACULA : MINA’S RECKONING (National Theatre of Scotland). 

Associate credits include: 7 series of OUTLANDER (Sony/Starz), MUNICH – THE EDGE OF WAR (Netflix), GOOD OMENS 2 (BBC/Amazon), GRANITE HARBOUR (BBC), NOBODY HAS TO KNOW (Barry Crerar), THE TOLL (Western Edge), FALLING FOR FIGARO (Black Camel/Netflix) and upcoming feature FATHERLAND. 

In 2021 Anna co-created and developed a tool with Tagmin to ensure all actors get an answer on auditions in support of the equity Yes/No campaign.

Catriona Dickie 

Catriona is a freelance casting director and associate. Her recent work includes the new Kevin Macdonald film ‘Prisoner 760’ as associate to Nina Gold, and TV series ’Trying’ for Apple TV and ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’ for HULU both as associate to Rachel Freck. Previous feature films include ‘Justice League’, ‘All the Money in the World’ and ‘Papillon, as well as TV series ‘Berlin Station’ and ’Sense8’. 

Recent theatre includes work for The Bridge theatre, together with Robert Sterne. 

As a freelance casting director she is currently in development on a couple of feature films, and also casts for short films, commercials and voiceovers. 

Adam Doyle

ADAM DOYLE has a Degree in Communications from Dublin City University. He is a musician who also worked as an actor before joining Louise Kiely Casting in 2020. Recent Casting credits include Casting Associate on ITV/Virgin Media's REDEMPTION & Casting Assistant on the upcoming second season of RTE's SMOTHER.

Naomi Downham

Naomi is currently Senior Casting Assistant at The Royal National Theatre, having started her career as a Junior Agent at Lou Coulson Associates.  

She works across all three theatres on the South Bank as part of the NT Casting Department, and her most recent credits include Athena (Yard Theatre, dir. Grace Gummer), Hamlet (Schools Tour, dir. Tinuke Craig), Jekyll & Hyde (Schools Tour, dir. Kirsty Housley). 

Co-credits include: The Crucible (Olivier Theatre, dir. Lyndsey Turner) , The Corn is Green (Lyttelton Theatre, dir. Dominic Cooke), The Normal Heart (Olivier Theatre, dir. Dominic Cooke), Death of England: Face to Face (Film, dir. Clint Dyer) & The Ocean at The End of the Lane (Dorfman Theatre, dir. Katy Rudd). 

Kristina Erdlely

Kristina Erdely is a London based producer and casting director with over 25 years experience in the industry. Initially beginning as a theatre producer, Kristina migrated into casting features and High End Television for the international market. From her diverse experience of working within the arts, Kristina has used her varied knowledge of the operational industry to actively connect with teams and networks, building her globalised portfolio and contact list. Kristina’s work has often gone above the remit of a casting director and included such tasks as connecting and sourcing writing teams, directors, matching production companies to talent, script advising, and assisting with commercial negotiations, all of which pertains to her working ethos that storytelling, above all, is a collaborative art form. Her production company Marilla Pictures has a varied slate and all the projects are now in advanced development. 

Kristina is a voting member of BAFTA and BIFA, was a founding member and board of director of the CSA (Casting Society of America-European/London Chapter) and is a member of PACT and BECTU. 

As an advocate for equality both in front and behind the camera, Kristina is passionate about actively increasing diverse storytelling opportunities, inclusive productions, and has a rolling knowledge of the industry’s emerging talent.  

Kristina’s recent television work includes David Finchers BAFTA winning Love, Death and Robots series for Netflix, for which she was nominated in the category of ‘Best Casting’ at the Artios Awards 2020.

Other TV includes: The Royals for NBC / Lionsgate, and Blood Drive, a longform series for Syfy in the US, The Drowning for Channel 5 and All3 Meida.

Toni_with_An_I received a BAFTA nomination in the short form television category in 2020. 

Kristina’s recent film work includes the award-winning Eaten by Lions, directed by Jason Wingard, winner of “Best Comedy” at the National Film Awards” 2020 and  ‘Best Film’ at the London Indian Film Awards and currently broadcast on BBC IPlayer.  

Her work on Another Life, also directed by Jason Wingard, won the 2017 British Independent Film Awards ‘Discovery Award’ and was named ‘Best Film’ at Raindance. 

Jupiter’s Moon, directed by Kornel Mundruczo  (White God, Pieces of a Woman) was in the main competition for the Cannes Palme d’Or 2017. 

Other notable films include: Oh, Ramona, a Netflix original, directed by Cristina Jacob. Gutterdammerung with Iggy Pop, Grace Jones and Kevin Eldon. The Hundred Year old Man Who Climed out of the Window for Disney.

Frankie Fearis 

Frankie has been working as a casting assistant for the last 3 years, working with many leading casting directors across Film, TV and commercials, including Sasha Robertson, who she worked with full time for a year and a half. She recently came back from Australia where she assisted with the castings for Hamilton, which is heading to Australia next year. She is also principal of an independent children’s drama school in West London.

Frankie is current working with Sophie Holland as a casting assistant on series 2 of The Witcher.

Catherine Garlick

Catherine is a Casting Assistant who worked for Jina Jay Casting from February 2018, and is now currently working for Daniel Edwards Casting since January 2020.

She has worked on a variety of Film & TV Projects that include Emmy award-winning ‘Black Mirror: Bandersnatch’, ‘Black Mirror’ Season 5 (Netflix), ‘Temple’ (Sky) and upcoming films ‘Enola Holmes’ and ‘Dune’ (Legendary Pictures) to name a few.

Harry Gilbert

Harry is currently working closely with Bafta award winning producer Mario Stylanidies on a number of tv series in development with Channel 4 and ITV and is attached to cast the green-lit shows.

Last year Harry began to lead the casting on a number of exciting projects.  He is currently casting the Feature Film Reawakening directed by Bafta Nominated Director Virginia Gilbert, He cast her short Home at the end of 2020, starring Max Irons and recently completed BFI and CNC funded short Lions which will shot in February 2022.  

Along-side his own projects Harry is Sarah Trevis’ Associate (Mary Poppins Returns, Pennyworth, Phantom Thread) currently working closely with her on TV shows Dead Boy Detective Agency (Warner Bros and HBO Max) One Bad Apple, (Viaplay)  and SS Rajamouli’s hotly anticipated RRR.  They are currently attached to a number of Feature Films and TV projects slated for 2022. 

In 2021 Harry worked with Jenny Duffy casting a number of TV projects for Eagle Eye including Hotel Portafino(PBS and ITV) Suspect (Channel 4) which is currently in post production along with The Control Room(Hartswood films and BBC). 

Sarah Harkins

Having trained as an actor and worked on and off in the industry for over 10 years, Sarah transitioned into casting over 4 years ago and has since worked across theatre, television, commercials, and films. She has worked with Annelie Powell on “What’s New Pussycat “and Coming to England, Julia Horan on Macbeth at The Almeida with Saoirse Ronan, along with Ginny Schiller, Dan Hubbard, she is currently at Catherine Willis Casting. Sarah has also freelanced with Changelings Theatres rep seasons amongst other projects.

She is currently at Catherine Willis and has worked on the Full Monty for Disney +, Romantic Getaway,  Plebs and continues to work across tv and film. 

She is currently working on Good Girl's Guide to Murder, based on the books by Holly Jackson, with the principal cast under 18 years old and has exciting projects for under 18s further in the year.

Sarah holds a DBS certificate and champions finding new talent from working class and lower socio economic backgrounds.

Clare Harlow

Clare most recently cast the feature, Settlers, starring Brooklynn Prince, Sofia Boetella and Johnny Lee Miller. Other recent credits include Associate Casting Director on Official Secrets and the Amazon series Treadstone.

Clare Harlow was an Associate to Kate Dowd for several years where she has worked on a variety of film and TV projects and is now currently working as an Associate for Gary Davy.

Previous credits include Eye in the Sky (feature film), Me Before You (feature film), The Hurricane Heist (feature film), Still Star Crossed (TV) The Book Thief (feature film), Stonehearst Asylum (feature film), Galavant (TV Series), The Assets (TV mini-series), as well as Pilot Season for ABC (2012-16) and Warner Brothers (2012-2019.)

Rae Hendrie

Rae Hendrie is a Casting Director who, after 7 years at Julie Harkin Casting, now has her own company, Rae Casting. While at Julie Harkin's she worked on projects including The Salisbury Poisonings (BBC), BAFTA award winning ‘There She Goes’ (BBC4) and ‘Industry’ (HBO) - Winner of the RTS award for Best Casting 2021 Julie Harkin & Rae Hendrie. Prior to working with Julie, she worked with Jill Trevellick, Nina Gold and Nicky Bligh. Rae began her career as an actress working at theatres including Glasgow Citizens, The Royal Exchange, Manchester, Royal Lyceum, Edinburgh alongside various TV shows which included 3 years as a regular on ‘Monarch of the Glen’.

Eliza Heslop 

Eliza Heslop started as an assistant to Alastair Coomer & Isabella Odoffin, moving to work under some fantastic Casting Directors such as; Jina Jay, Kahleen Crawford, Kate Rhodes James and Nina Gold working on several projects in each office.

Eliza has been a casting assistant for the past 4 years, collecting a vast knowledge across TV and film specifically. She’s worked on projects such as Black Mirror, Spiderman; Far From Home, The Little Drummer Girl, The Capture, and many more.

Nicholas Hockaday

Casting for theatre as Casting Director includes Alice in Wonderland (Colchester), Friendsical (UK Tour & Edinburgh Fringe), Playing Shakespeare: The Tempest, Midsummer Mechanicals, Playing Shakespeare: Macbeth (The Globe) and Time & Tide (The Park Theatre). 

Casting for screen as Casting Director includes Largo (Short Film, Slick) & Children with Cancer (Commercial, Online use).

Children’s Casting Director includes 101 Dalmatians (Co-Casting with VJN Casting for Regent's Park Open Air Theatre) Meet Me It St. Louis at Grange Park Opera (cancelled due to Covid). Dear Evan Hansen (Noel Coward Theatre), Jersey Boys (Trafalgar Theatre), Bedknobs & Broomsticks (UK Tour), Lion King (UK & Ireland Tour) as casting assistant. Casting for TV & film include Peter 2.0 (See-Saw), Homeland S8 (Fox), Love Gets A Room (Nostromo Pictures) & The Great (Hulu) as casting assistant. Children’s Casting for TV & Film includes Invasion (Apple TV), Life After Life (BBC/House), The Boy The Mole The Fox and The Horse (Bad Robot) as Associate.

Millie Hooper

Millie is the Assistant at Isabella Odoffin Casting. She started her career with Casting Director Gemma Sykes, after an internship with Dan Hubbard. She then moved over to talent management, and spent nearly two years at Independent Talent Group, before joining Sam Jones Casting at the beginning of 2020 and now Isabella’s Odoffin in 2022. 

Ella Holmes

Ella works for Dan Hubbard Casting. Recent credits include: 'Midas Man' (Brian Epstein biopic) and Guy Ritchie’s ‘Operation Fortune: Ruse de guerre’ for Miramax.

Matilda James

Matilda is a freelance casting director and creative producer from Cornwall. She was Head of Casting for Shakespeare's Globe from 2012 to 2017 and now works on projects for theatre and screen. She is a founder member of The Murmuration, a women-led producing collective that brings strategic and creative thinking together to make things happen in a smart, kind, artist-focussed way. Recent projects include work with the Barbican, York Theatre Royal and Kyiv City Ballet, #Merky Films, and Citizens of the World Choir, the UK's leading choir for people seeking sanctuary and asylum.

Recent theatre includes: 2.22: A Ghost Story by Danny Robins (West End and UK Tour); Gin Craze! (Northampton Royal & Derngate / ETT); Lady Windermere's Fan (Classic Spring / Vaudeville) and Farinelli and the King (Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, West End and Broadway).

Lauren Jerome

Since graduating university with a film degree in 2013, Lauren has worked in casting across both high end and independent film, television and commercial. 

During her time in the industry, she has worked underneath Reg Poerscout-Edgerton, Dan Hubbard, Gary Davy and most recently as Gail Stevens and Rebecca Farhall’s associate; working across projects for companies such as Netflix, Working Title, BBC, ITV and many more.

Outside of casting, Lauren runs a comedy company called Big Mouth.

Beibhinn Jones 

Beibhinn has a Degree in Drama from Dublin Institute of Technology. She worked as an Actress and a Casting Assistant before joining Louise Kiely Casting in 2019.

Hayley Kaimakliotis

Hayley has worked in casting for over ten years. Her career has been across theatre, film and television and she has worked across many different offices.

Josie Kemp

Josie works in casting and has assisted on projects with MGM, Netflix. BBC and many other well known production companies. She has also worked in commercial casting, assisting on commercials for Tesco, Nike, Amazon, Samsung, amongst others. She has worked for Rose Wicksteed Casting assisting on the Hulu project, Black cake and also the film, The Nun 2. She has assisted Lucinda Syson Casting on feature film Boys in the Boat, Lucinda also produced Film/ TV such as The Dark Knight, Batman Begins, Foundations and other big titles. Prior to that she was working with Kharmel Cochrane Casting who produced commercials/TV/Film such as Game of Thrones, Saint Maud, The End of the F*****g World and many commercials for big companies - such as the CDG award winning Sainsbury's Christmas commercial. She also works on a freelance basis with Lesley Beastall Casting and BEAST Casting, assisting on commercials.

Gabby King

Gabby King has worked for Shaheen Baig for just over 6 years. Working on projects such as Peaky Blinders, Ali & Ava and After Love.

Rick Laxton

Rick Laxton is a freelance Casting Director and member of the CDG. Amongst his credits are series for BBC, ITV, Amazon Prime and Disney, including BBC1 show 'Scarborough', and multi award winning BBC1 comedy 'Peter Kay's Car Share'. He was Head of Casting at Lime Pictures from 2010 to 2015, where his credits included 'Hollyoaks', 'Rocket's Island', 'The Evermoor Chronicles' and 'House of Anubis'. Before that, Rick worked in the ITV casting department for seven years, on shows such as 'The Street', 'Vincent', 'Coronation Street', 'Blue Murder' and 'The Road to Coronation Street'.

Lainey Lipson

Lainey is a Casting Associate, working mainly on TV series' and feature films. Prior to casting, she worked as an actress in Los Angeles, which sparked her interest in behind-the-camera processes. Lainey then pursued a BA in filmmaking in the UK, where she cast, directed, and wrote numerous short films. She then went on to assist in various casting offices in LA, including multi-Emmy-award-winners Lowry-Johnson/Goldstein Casting. Since relocating back to the UK, she has worked with casting directors including: Rose Wicksteed, Sophie Kingston-Smith, Nancy Bishop, Gemma Sykes, and Kirsty Kinnear. Notable projects include: For All Mankind (Apple TV+/Sony), Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan S4 (Amazon/Paramount), Yellowjackets (Showtime), Invasion (Apple TV+), The Nun 2 (New Line), and Them (Amazon/Sony).

Carla Morris

Carla trained at Central School of Speech and Drama and The Ward Studio in New York.

As Casting Director, Carla’s Screen credits include This Is The Night Mail and More Things In Heaven & Earth. Theatre credits include The Albatross 3rd & Main (Park Theatre), Stone Face (Finborough Theatre), Moth (Hightide Festival /Bush Theatre), alongside various readings and workshops.

Carla has worked as a Casting Assistant for the past 5 years, working alongside Casting Directors Nadira Seecoomar and Dixie Chassay on various film and television projects.  She currently works as an assistant to Kahleen Crawford and is a probationary member of the CDG.

 As well as working as a freelance Casting Director, Carla spent two years at the Bush Theatre and worked for several years with Producer Lee Menzies on various West End and Touring Theatre Productions.

Pearson Casting

Pearson Casting are an award-winning, international Casting House based in London, Liverpool & New York, founded & run, by husband & wife team - James & Rosie Pearson.  They work across Theatre, film, TV, commercials & live performance.

James & Rosie are both members of the CDG - Casting Directors Guild, CDA - Casting Directors Association and the CSA - Casting Society of America.  In 2022 they won Best Casting In Regional Theatre at the CDG Awards for their work on RENT.

They are joined in the New York office by Ian Subsara, who is a proud graduate of Elon University in North Carolina where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Theatre.  He has since worked extensively as a Casting Director across TV, live performance and theatre, both on and off-Broadway.  The New York office is currently casting the US National Tour of 9 to 5, directed by Jeff Calhoun.

Becky Paris

Becky is Head of Casting at Shakespeare’s Globe, casting all in-house productions, workshops, readings and special events for the Globe and Sam Wanamaker Playhouse. She is also a freelance Casting Director who has worked on theatre projects for the Almeida, the Bridge Theatre, VAULT Festival and Sheffield Theatres as well as a number of short films. Previously, she worked as a Casting Assistant for TV and film projects in the offices of Rose Wicksteed, Jessie Frost and Alex Johnson.

Annelie Powell

Annelie Powell is known for Luther: The Fallen Sun (2023), Gray's Eden and Leave (2022).

Carl Proctor

Having trained as an actor at RADA, Carl worked in theatre, film and TV for a number of years. Acting credits include ‘Timon of Athens’ for the Royal Shakespeare Company at The Young Vic Theatre, directed by Trevor Nunn and ‘Glengarry Glen Ross’ at The Donmar Warehouse, directed by Sam Mendes. He has produced one feature film – ‘Mad Dogs, produced and/or directed award winning short films and theatre, including ‘Good Golly Miss Molly’ the West End rock ‘n’ roll musical.

The film ‘Son of God’ was released by 20th Century Fox in 3000 cinemas across America.  Carl cast over 80 largely British actors in ‘The Bible Series’, initially for US TV, it has become the most successful mini-series of all time. Last year Carl cast a series for Germany and US - Pan Tau and is currently casting several films.  

Becky Rossmaur

Becky is currently working as Casting Associate for Andy Pryor Casting (Doctor Who, It's a Sin, Years and Years), and has previously worked at Lucinda Syson Casting and Jina Jay Casting; well known for their work across Film and TV. Prior to Jina Jay Casting, Becky worked in Commercial casting with Lesley Beastall on various commercial projects. Becky’s most recent credits include Doctor Who (BBC & Disney +), The Diplomat (Netflix), The New Look (Apple TV), Aquaman 2, Foundation (Apple TV), Black Mirror (Netflix), Temple (SKY), Dune and Enola Holmes (Legendary Pictures) and many others.

Chandra Ruegg

Chandra Ruegg started working in the industry as a child actress, having attended Sylvia Young Theatre School.

After more than twenty years, she decided she was ready to give up her acting hat and move into the world of casting, something she had often remarked would be her next steps.

Her first stint was assisting Amy Ball on Dance Nation at the Almeida Theatre.

From there she assisted Charlotte Sutton for Chichester Festival Theatre, for two seasons and was due to be an associate on one of their shows this year, which sadly didn’t happen due to Covid.

She continues to work with both on other projects when needed.

As a freelancer her screen work includes assisting Nanw Rowlands, Sophie Holland, Andy Pryor, Lauren Evans and Oliva Scott Webb to name but a few!

Oliver Scullion

Oliver is a freelance Casting Assistant currently working for Harkin Tooth. Initially starting out as an actor, graduating into the industry in 2014, he made a leap into casting and joined Stuart’s office in 2021, where he has been working ever since. Abby Sethu

Having started off in Production, Abby Sethu moved into the field of casting in 2018. She was fortunate to have gained experience with Dixie Chassay and worked as a freelance casting assistant for Heather Basten. Abby worked with Amy Hubbard for 2 years as a casting assistant on TV/Film projects such as SUSPICION, THE OUTLAWS, DECEIT and THE GIRL BEFORE. She is currently working as a casting assistant for Catherine Willis. Most recent and upcoming projects include ROMANTIC GETAWAY, AND MRS and MRS SlDHU INVESTIGATES.

Saffeya Shebli

Saffeya started out as a film publicist before making the move into casting in 2021, after graduating from the National Film & Television School’s Casting Certificate. She joined The Old Vic as their in-house Casting Assistant, before progressing to Casting Coordinator earlier this year, and supports freelance casting directors across productions, as well as often leading or assisting on casting for workshops, readings and monologue series’. Recent productions she has worked on for The Old Vic include Jack Thorne’s A Christmas Carol (directed by Matthew Warchus), Caryl Churchill’s A Number (directed by Lyndsey Turner), Mike Bartlett’s The 47th (directed by Rupert Goold), August Wilson’s Jitney (directed by Tinuke Craig), Jonathan Spector’s Eureka Day (directed by Katy Rudd), and Kate Prince’s Sylvia.

Sara Short

Sara currently works at Sophie Holland Casting. Throughout her time there she has worked on projects such as The Continental [Lionsgate/Starz], The Witcher [Netflix] and Constellations [Apple].

Harriet Spenser

With over 10 years’ experience, working with the in-house Casting Departments at ITV, BBC and Lime Pictures and freelance, Harriet has gained extensive experience and understanding of the casting process across Soap, Drama and Entertainment. Harriet is currently working as the Casting Associate for Lime Pictures casting full time for Hollyoaks as well as international projects such as the new Netflix release Zero Chill.

Charlotte Sumner Hughes

Charlotte currently works as Casting Assistant at the Donmar Warehouse under Anna Cooper CDG, having previously worked at Rob Kelly Casting and Elaine Grainger Casting. 

Recent credits include: Red Sonja (HBO), Something in the Water (StudioCanal UK), How to Date Billy Walsh (Amazon), This is Christmas (Sky Cinema) and Dodger (BBC).  

Theatre for the Donmar Warehouse includes: Trouble in Butetown (directed by Tinuke Craig) and Private Lives (directed by Michael Longhurst). Upcoming for the Donmar - When Winston Went to War with the Wireless (directed by Katy Rudd) and Next to Normal (directed by Michael Longhurst). 

Steph Tataryn

Steph Tataryn is currently assisting at Lucinda Syson Casting and has previously assisted Rob Kelly (CDG) and associate Amy Damonte after starting out freelance in 2017. She has worked across many film & TV projects including “Dodger” (BBC/NBC), Catherine Tate’s upcoming comedy “Hard Cell” (Netflix), TV series “Bulletproof” (Sky One), new limited series “Flowers in the Attic: The Origins (A&E)” and various others currently in development. She has also assisted Catriona Dickie and Amanda Tabak.

Faye Timby

Faye worked as an Agent for three years before moving into casting. She began working for Nadine Rennie, Laura Dickens and Annelie Powell. She then spent a year assisting Sophie Holland on the Netflix TV series The Witcher and then Rachel Freck on Series 3 of Tin Star. She is currently working for Sophie Holland on The Witcher S2, Hamlet at the Young Vic and The Magic Flute (feature film). She is also the Casting Director for the BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Forum.

Kristian Wall

After training as an actor Kristian swiftly moved to the other side of the industry. He's worked at Olivia Bell Management & 42 M&P as a Talent Managers Assistant. In Casting Assistant he has worked with Sue Needleman, Rob Kelly and currently for Andy Pryor.

Kitty Williams

Kitty studied Musical Theatre at The Urdang Academy. Soon after graduating, Kitty started working as a freelance casting assistant for TV / Film.

Kitty started at Elaine Grainger Casting last year, where she assisted on various TV and Film projects including ‘The Expendables 4’ (Film) and ‘Last Light’ (TV series). She then went onto work with Nanw Rowlands on various TV / Film projects, including Disney + Series ‘A Small Light’.

She is currently assisting Lauren Evans.

Christopher Worrall 

Christopher is a freelance Casting Director and has previously worked in-house at The Old Vic and Donmar Warehouse. As a freelancer, he has cast for the National Theatre, Sheffield Crucible, Nottingham Playhouse, Leeds Playhouse, Grange Park Opera and the Orange Tree Theatre. He continues to work for the Donmar as an Associate on a freelance basis. Screen Credits include Working Title’s recent adaptation of EMMA and the much loved BBC series Call the Midwife.
